Another common micro says hello

Another MV trap to check and another new species of micro says hello - this is Lathronympha strigana, a common moth that feeds on St.John's Wort (particularly Perforate). I really should take more time to identify the micros that I trap, rather than just take notice of the more bizarre and colourful ones. Pan listing gold...

I have been puzzling over a worn micro from last night. It has a lot of grey & orange scales and is structurally similar to this.

It currently resides in some KOH awaiting a gen det.

Andrew, I have a folder of micro pictures on my computer that are awaiting identification, although some will not be do-able I'm sure.
As an update, I had to admit defeat as it was a female and I can not find anything on female genitalia for Lathronympha strigana. I am convinced it was a worn L. strigana though but it slips the net. Plenty more stuff out there.

Andrew, I've just been looking through my mystery micro moth folder. Resigned to not being able to do anything from a photo for some, but others have given themselves up!
